We will be answering all of the pertinent questions that the community have sent in throughout the week. Once these questions have been answered, I will open up the chat so you can ask further (non-repetitive please) questions, the chat will then close once more for Mark to answer. Correct, take your time, there is no rush. You can do it at any time. There is no deadline or end date for the swap. We are making this as seamless and easy as possible for everyone.

Q4) Any plans to keep staking beyond the 31/12/2021 deadline?
We have not made a decision yet but liquidity mining is very much in play and could replace staking after Dec 2021. We will announce mid-year.
Q5) All the tournaments are free to join. How does that help the company to generate revenue? Is there a place or example where users/players are actually using the VRA token to get a product/service?
_Great question!_The tournaments are free to join since we are focusing on adoption and scaling the number of users we have globally. Bringing as many people to the platform is our priority right now. As we expand and offer user-generated prize pools we will take a commission on the total jackpots as a revenue stream. In addition, other revenue flows will become available to us as we build our user base and launch our video player this Q1.
We will monetize our esports content through our video player within Esports Fight Club by serving ads from our ad partners:
Advertiser Partnership Update
Esports Fight Club will require players to use VRA to purchase subscriptions via several payment systems: VeraWallet, PayPal and Credit Cards (although some tournaments are free for promotional purposes). Winners receive VRA for winning tournaments. Soon players will also be rewarded VRA for watching ads. Verasity profits from the purchase of game credits, subscriptions, tournament prize pools and ads. This is an entire ecosystem all within Verasity.

Adoption and scale are key to the success of Esports Fight Club. We’ve made a lot of progress on the platform and are confident we will continue to see further growth in terms of users and a ton more exposure to the platform, and our token $VRA.Talking about adoption and scale… the next question will answer that!~Q6) What is the current Marketing Strategy? How do we differ from other tournament websites?
After creating mass-scale events around the world, we are focusing on adoption and community this year. Spending $10,000 on a big one-time prize pool to attract 1000 teams sounds good in theory. But, after careful planning, forecasting and testing, the results show that the best way is to spread the tournaments out so we reach a larger number of audiences. This consistency and large reach will attract much more than just 1000 teams over a period of time. The best place to do this is by sponsoring streamers and influencers, who each have thousands or even hundreds of thousands of fans.
For the past week, for example, we’ve been running a Valorant Community Tournament with Esports Fight Club’s first partnered streamer, Mika Daime. The turnout has been massive! Qualifier 1 was filled up with the max slots so quickly, that we had to create a Qualifier 2 just to fit all the teams in.

Most streamers we aim to partner with can easily bring in 64 or 256 teams to a community tournament hosted by Esports Fight Club, for a fraction of the price
With the same budget as a big tournament, of the $10,000 we would have spent on a single tournament, we can obtain approximately 540% more users by repurposing that budget for the influencer and streamer tournaments.

Q8) Have you changed your business model? Because at the beginning it was mainly about publishers.
Our fundamental model has not changed: Video publishers attract audiences to watch video content and ads. Users are rewarded for it, thereby increasing engagement and monetization.
This model has not changed. What has changed is the type of video publisher we are pursuing. Prior to COVID-19, we pursued traditional publishers. With COVID-19, we saw the opportunity to pursue gaming publishers and more specifically esports publishers. More importantly, we created our own tournament platform: esportsfightclub.com. This allows us to control our own environment, launch our own proprietary video player, own our video content, run ads on our player, and charge subscription fees as well as take tournament fees.
But actually publishers and content are publishers and content whether it’s gaming or news.
It’s great to see how Esports Fight Club will have it’s own video content up on the website so that users will be able to watch the content to earn $VRA by using our own video technology, then use the $VRA to join tournaments, or buy hardware from trusted partners 👀Exciting stuff!Q9) Where can I find info about the Founders token unlock schedule?

Q10) Does VeraWallet speed handling withdraws scale up painlessly when user amounts boom? And shall there be enhancements to user experience if we for example have tens or hundreds of small reward withdraws daily?
We are adding automated withdrawals for small amounts to the roadmap but first have to complete the swap and add the security protocols. We won’t risk our users’ investments.
We simply don't want to risk our secure environment.
Q11) Are there any plans for compounding rewards for the VeraWallet staking?
No, absolutely not. The simple interest we are paying now is already high.
Q12) Bit confused about the VeraWallet staking rate after March. Can you clarify?
The staking reward rate is 0.1% per day (36.5% per annum) until 31 March 2021 when it becomes 0.07% daily (25.55% pa) until 31 December 2021.
Q13) When can I instant stake with BTC?
Good news, BTC is already available in VeraWallet for Instant Stake together with ETH, BNB and USDT.

Instant Buy and Stake has been a really popular update to VeraWallet. Great to see the community loving it. 👍🏼Q14) With the recent developments on Cardano, and the ease in which ERC-20 tokens can migrate to this superior to Ehereum platform, are you considering following suit of great projects like Celsius to move VRA over to Cardano? I know we are still a bit hurt with Binance VRAB. I understand it is not an easy decision. Just interested in what you think about the future on Ethereum.
We gave this a lot of thought and investigation and as the community knows we have experience with token migrations :)

As to Cardano — the liquidity is really small compared to ETH alts. For example on Kucoin it’s volume is less than $2m per day. Even on OKEX it’s only $3m. 50% of Celsius’ volume is on Uniswap which is the majority of the liquidity and is not on any Tier 1 exchanges. Aside from the lack of features that we need for PoV, after our last experience, we are very reluctant to join with mainnets that are generally illiquid. Celsius’s solution is to provide the liquidity themselves through Uniswap which is limiting in our view. We believe sticking with Ethereum is the right way to go and the market seems to agree with this as well.
Q15) The new VOD platform, when is it going to be finished and in use?
We are working on it now and expect it to meet the roadmap target of Q1: see verasity.io for the roadmap.
Can’t wait for it to be released! 🚀> Yes, this is a huge milestone for us and opens us up to so many possibilities.Q16) Is liquidity mining still in play? Will this replace the staking rewards after December 2021?
Good question. Yes, liquidity mining is very much in play and could replace staking after Dec 2021. We have not made that decision yet but will announce as soon as we do.
Q17) Are there new partners/publishers in the trend of gaming for the ad stack?
Yes, FB, Google and others. Please see:

I don’t think today there are many ad networks that are not into gaming. It's such a huge audience sitting at home during Covid.
Q18) Micro tournaments: could you arrange tournaments yourself, like a national tournament for example?
The Esports Fight Club platform is fully self-managed, so yes, you could set up large tournaments and be the admin and sponsor. We would definitely like to see this happen by our community members. This quarter, our admins and developers are focused on A/B testing different tournaments with multiple communities to see if we are missing any critical features demanded by gamers. An article will be coming next week about micro and partnered tournaments. We will explain how these increase platform adoption which benefits both influencers and Esports Fight Club.
If anyone does host some tournaments, message me! I’d be happy to join a few… dust off my skills. I heard Rob (Our Finance Director) was a bit of Counterstrike wizard in his day… 😂Q19) Why are the tokens bought via the instant buy taken from a pool which dilutes the total supply? This is like raising new capital for $VRA at every buy instead of us token holders getting a price increase.
These are not purchased from a pool. If you mean that Foundation tokens have been transferred to VeraWallet, see the article:

In the Total VRA Supply, line 9, this VRA is already taken into account as part of both total supply and circulating supply. It does not increase either. I think this is really clear.
Q20) Asking about the “Instant buy and stake feature”. If someone buys $VRA using this system, there is no transaction on the blockchain. You say you buy directly on exchanges but no proof.
Buy backs of VRA do not happen instantly and we don’t announce buy backs in advance to avoid speculation. We don’t share our VeraWallet addresses as we have stated before. We are not going to provide speculators with tools to make a margin on each purchase.

We are swapping our current ERC20 tokens to ERC777 which is essentially an upgrade to a more modern and fuller feature set Ethereum token.

If you mean that Foundation tokens have been transferred to VeraWallet, see the article:

Foundation tokens are not locked and the article clearly states they are unlocked. In the Total VRA Supply, line 9, this VRA is already taken into account as part of both total supply and circulating supply. It does not increase either. We specifically provide for ALL Foundation tokens, allocated and unallocated, as part of the current circulating supply so this is NOT adding to the circulating supply.
Q23) Asking about adoption figures. You claim to have had 8M people looking at your gaming videos (mostly fakes views as the counter earned millions in hours).
The adoption figures were not fake or exaggerated, it is important to understand that this number is a combination of different metrics, all of which ensure one thing: People viewed our live tournament page. This number includes:

Unique gaming viewers landing on our page to be able to find the stream in their native language (English, Korean, Hindi, Mandarin and Nepali)
Social media followers and curious gamers who landed on our page after subscribing to our contests, looking for airdrops or just by following our different marketing campaigns. These account for the steady and regular growth of our landing page as we ran these campaigns all-around the globe and 24/7 at the end of the tournament. The livestream was embedded onto the homepage of the website, so everyone who visited our website was also able to watch the tournament
Lastly, the contestants, productions and influencer’s traffic from sharing our streams was what mostly caused big traffic, especially during the play-off and later stages of the tournament.

Although it was difficult to collate all the viewer statistics we believe them to be accurate and fair.

Hope that clears up some FUD! 👍🏼Q24) Asking about partnerships. You say you have partnerships with
Stripe, Tencent Games, PayPal. The truth is any website can integrate these payment/connexion modules without partnership. You just need to read their website and implement it on your website.
Of course, you can add Stripe and PayPal to any website, but try adding them to a crypto-based website and see how far you get. There are no crypto products websites or related services (other than specific financial services) that are supported by Stripe and PayPal because they are not allowed. To obtain these payment services, you need to have special permission and follow a rigid protocol. And Stripe expressed interest in working with Esports Fight Club to reach out to video publishers with EFC to give us access to video publishers worldwide.
As to TencentGames, you need to get their specific permission for certain tournament events and follow their rules. We would be unable to use their logo and name in our marketing material without this. It’s not simply signing up for them. So yes we consider this a partnership because they plan on additional events with us which they now support.
Working with major brands including PUBGM, Tencent, Athena Gaming and Warmania gave us the clout to include major esport teams in our tournaments who will participate in future tournaments as well: FaZe Clan, Orange, T1, Elementrix, Nova, Onic and others. And now because of the history, Blizzard is prepared to provide licenses for all their major games.
We are also in discussion with peripheral manufacturers to support our marketplace launch later this year. As soon as agreements are reached, we will jointly announce sponsored product peripherals that will be rewarded in our tournaments.
Q25) Some things on your roadmap get pushed forward. Why did do you do this?
Our development team has been together doing projects for over ten years. This is normal in large scale development projects. For example, we decided after the large Esports Fight Club tournaments we put on that we needed to finalize and launch the Video sharing platform prior to some other features on the roadmap because without it we would not be able to take advantage of many opportunities including monetization opportunities of the exclusive VOD content that only we could re-publish and add ads to. This pushed certain product features into Q2. Another example is PoV. Initially we thought we would go with proprietary blockchain because there was no other solution that would allow us to support PoV. That changed with the release by Ethereum of ERC777. As a result PoV timeline targets changed so that it corresponds to the release of ERC777 as well as the ability to use it for the Video sharing platform. So in effect, the video-sharing platform came in _much earlier than expected_which pushed out other features/products to accommodate this change. Business decisions and external events impact on the roadmap and it would do Verasity and the community an injustice if we just blindly followed a roadmap that becomes slightly outdated every quarter and greatly outdated every year. It is this flexibility that allows Verasity to take advantage of new information and technologies in real-time. And to push out new products earlier in the roadmap such as the video-sharing platform.
Q26) Proof-of-View™️ so nice!
When will it be a Patented POV?
The average time for a patent to be granted is 3 years. We’ve just started our third year as a pending application so we hope it will be in 2021, however our patent lawyers have told us to expect further delays due to covid. Fortunately this won’t stop the release of Proof of View which can go ahead with ‘patent pending’ protection.

Q27) Will there be an app for download on your phone soon? For Staking. Feeling a little insecure have it online on your website
Actually, our mweb and web applications are much more secure than a mobile app. Mobile apps are much easier to hack. Although we have not been hacked, some users have been hacked via their mobile phones but because we have a manual delay, we were able to stop the loss of tokens. The good news is that now with the swap to ERC777 we can disable any wallets that have stolen VRA and return the VRA to the original user. We do have mobile apps on the roadmap but won’t likely support staking because of the security issue and it is not a priority for us.
Q28) Not try to fud here, but would like to get an answer in AMA to suppress all fud in the future 😁
Financial status company. There have been coins sold for listing on an exchange (still to come?). Was this something that was not planned (like extra opportunity to get listed) or are funds becoming empty?
Current resources held by Verasity fund the project roadmap for the next 12 months. We forecast reaching profitability in 2021 which will finance the continuing runway thereafter. As you point out not all listing opportunities were included in the forecast and we stated that: “In the future, additional listings and expenses may require sales of VRA from the Foundation Reserve”. Q29) The VoD update is a little bit unclear for me. Maybe you can tell some more about it. To the looks of it, it is a mix between YouTube and twitch but with PoV to earn $VRA.
PoV on VODs is a key feature for us and for our large ad-stack network. While we are growing our partnerships with community tournaments and adding more games and influencers on EsportsFightClub: we want our reruns to be monetized, available at all times on our proprietary platform and browsing page. Think of it the way Twitch highlights previous streamer’s lives automatically but on a larger and customizable library for viewers to earn VRA and for Verasity to monetize via its ad stack.
And we own several terabytes of gaming and esports video content which will launch with the new video platform in Q1. This is actually massive, because on launch we will have a ton of video content to monetize!
Q30) You seem to have many products but I don’t understand how they work together?

The Esports Fight Club platform — lots of features already available including global and tournament chats, user created tournaments, detailed tournament customization options
Proprietary video player — in internal beta for launch Q1
Proprietary ad stack — in internal beta for launch Q1
Our own esports content — all the content rights from the tournaments and other gaming content owned by EFC &Verasity — this VOD will be monetized on launch of the video platform in Q1

In Q1’2021, we will put many of these parts together to start scaling our own video player with our ad stack, producing ad revenues in addition to our other revenue streams.

Q31) What games does Esports Fight Club support now?
PUBG mobile, Free Fire, Counter-Strike GO, Valorant, PUBG and Ludo is about to be launched.

At Verasity, we have a large marketing team that devotes itself behind the scenes to increase our awareness in the cryptocurrency community and reach as many people as possible.
Although we have community groups in more than 10 languages, our local group managers translate all the news, updates into their own languages and publish them in local forums and groups in real time. Thus, we significantly increase our chances of reaching communities that do not speak English. Verasity Spanish, Verasity Korea & Verasity India are already large groups and growing.
We will continue to use media sites, influencers, and all other advertising sources to spread our news in the future as in the past. Gamification marketing opportunities are very important to us as can be seen in LunarCrush.
In return for these efforts, we have gained a great community support that grew slowly but surely. Our marketing efforts will continue to scale. Our goal in this regard is to continue without stopping until every individual in the cryptocurrency community speaks about Verasity.

LunarCrush Altrank is the best stats measure of Alts social marketing success out of 2100 popular Alts. We tested many marketing ploys to rank highly. When something works, it’s clear in LunarCrush. Competitions like AltWars simply work. This is the meaning of crypto exposure when the Altrank increases in LunarCrush which measures all social volume, % change per 24 hours, and social score. Even with our volume which only ranks 550 out of 2100 Alts, our Social Volume pushes us in front of much bigger tokens such as OMG, DOT, LINK, CHSB and others. Clearly our marketing is working.
The community support has been phenomenal. It’s been great to see how supportive the Verasians have been. We wouldn’t be anywhere without you guys! So thank you from the team.Especially during the AltWars contest recently… we owned! 👍🏼 Power of the Verasians. 🤝Q33)Have you heard about gaming projects Exeedme and Crowns and how can you compare them to Verasity?
We did! Exeedme is an exciting project revolving around gamers personal skill and players betting against themselves (user-centric) that is just at its very inception. They are not competitors as our model (Community, content and tournament centered) has broader purpose and we dont and wont support betting because it will be rejected by many of our partners.
Crowns Token, from Seascape, is a DeFi economy blockchain made for developers building their own online games but who cannot/don’t want to focus on the technical transactional side. Although they are very promising for simple browser and other types of games, they are just not targeting the Esports market and offer, at best, support for upcoming indie-browser games studios.
We would not be able to partner with Exeedme because of betting restrictions but Crowns could be interesting if the games developed are popular with our viewers.
Q34) Are there any plans in the near future (next several months) to list on an exchange that allows full KYC trading for US citizens (e.g. Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Binance US, etc.)?
This is hard for us. The regulatory environment in the US is not friendly. Since we are not regulated in the US, the risk of listing on a US exchange and the SEC bringing a claim is quite high. At this time we are avoiding this. Lets see what happens with the new SEC Chair who is quite familiar with blockchain. Should he articulate straight forward rules that can be followed and which will not be changed every couple of months, we will consider it then.

And finally. the last question on the list…🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁Q36) Do you have an update on exchanges? The one that was hinted end of last year and more to come?
Very important issue for us and the community. We fully appreciate the necessity for additional volume and liquidity. After the last exchange hack and issues with OKEX, we were thrown off balance but had expected to list on a new exchange by now. Mistakenly we announced prematurely and then ran into the necessity of completing the VRA token swap before we list on a new exchange. Obviously, we want to now avoid having to swap tokens on a new exchange. So right after the majority of the current exchanges we are listed on complete the swap (this month), we will continue with our listing plans. We are well on the way with 2 exchanges but don’t think it’s prudent to provide more information until they announce the listing themselves. The expectation is still for at least one exchange in Q1. Please bear with us on this. We will get there.

Q37) When the Verasity Game Jackpot price will be held again? We are waiting for so long.
New jackpots are coming onto the platform but for upcoming games like Ludo which will be announced later this month.
Q38) Is it possible to create something like a create your own tournament where I can play a 1vs1(or 2v2 5vs5) against another player(s) in any game anytime (like in 30 minutes) and where I can set for example a winning price of 100k VRA. and both players have to send 50k before the game to a smart contract and afterward it automatically gets sent to the winner?
Esports Fight Club allows users to create their own tournaments choosing from the available games list. We are constantly working on expanding the list of available games and are open for suggestions. The players deposit VRA to the Esports Fight Club account and use these funds to send money to the prize pool. It's quite simple to set up and you can do it for any amount and any number of players and as admin, you have complete control of the size of the pot, how it is shared in % for winners when to start, etc. Its a fully self managed platform that works now. Just go in and set it up today!
Q39) Hi Mark, regarding the plans for in-game advertising and in-game rewards this year, could you describe your vision on this? Is Verasity currently discussing this topic with certain game companies, and how exactly would it work in practice once achieved? Any details you can share with us would be highly appreciated!
The way we view in-game ads is our ability to provide our logo or some other image that would be part of the game interface, such as the floor or walls. This already exists and is popular. We are in discussions now with game developers to add Verasity/VRA. This is a high powered marketing tool that will get our name into many gamers’ faces. These are native images in effect. For advertisers that want to use native images inside our broadcasts or VOD, they get stitched into the ad server in parallel to the stream and we get paid for the ad inventory. In-game rewards are still in development but the vision is for users to be able to click on an object in the game and get rewarded for doing so, not dissimilar to clicking on an add and getting a higher CPM.

Fic Review: Robes of Green Series by KZ55. The Slytherin Harry reboot in which I deep dive into harems.

Trigger warnings for sexual references and sexual content between minors discussed below. I won't be linking the fic directly as it goes against Rule 8 of this subreddit.

Premise
The Robes of Green series follows Harry Potter had he been sorted into Slytherin, though the story picks up in book 3 rather than from book 1. This was to avoid getting bogged down in the details of the first two books and move onto when the plot thickens. Also it’s a T-Rated harem fic.
The series follows Harry from PoA through to presumably DH, but is currently incomplete. For this review, I am only covering the first two installments – Heart of Gold and Triwizard King, which follow the timeline of PoA and GoF respectively.

Plot
From what I can tell, it’s a straight up rewrite of the series had Harry been in Slytherin. It’s hard to comment on the plot because there isn’t really one to speak of. It’s not PWP, but there isn’t enough deviation from canon to really call it its own story. Many of the same events happen, even when it doesn’t make sense for them to occur. We didn’t see the events of PS and CoS directly, but it’s reflected back on enough that we are given to understand that Hermione and Ron were still the ones involved at every step, despite Harry not being a Gryffindor or friends with Ron. Harry still loves Hagrid, has deep respect for Dumbledore, and is ideologically opposed to Slytherin pureblood values. As far as a canon rewrite goes, I don’t really feel like it adds a significant perspective.
Honestly it sort of seems to be a “Harry can have it all” rewrite. Many of the deviations which do occur are done in such a way as to give Harry a better outcome than he had in canon. For example, he gets tipped off early about Peter Pettigrew, so Harry sits smug in his knowledge whilst Ron gets a rude shock that his rat isn’t a rat. Pettigrew doesn’t escape and gets the Dementor’s Kiss on the spot, so Sirius Black is exonerated and Harry gets to spend most of the summer with him.
Other deviations include 5 triwizard champions being selected from the Goblet of Fire, Cedric being replaced with Angelina Johnson as Hogwarts champion (though she doesn’t die), a condensed quidditch season taking place during Harry’s fourth year, and a twist on the big bad of book 4.

The Writing
The fic is written in present tense, which is apparently a hallmark writing style of the millennial generation. And present tense is fine – it can be great – but it’s a tricky thing to make it gel with your story. It's often coupled with a first person narrative as first person conveys a greater sense of intimacy than a past tense narrative. The idea is that we're watching something unfold as it's happening, living someone’s life through their eyes rather than feeling like you’re being read a story about something which has already happened.
In this case, the author has chosen to go with third person limited as their storytelling perspective. Even with the decision to write in present tense, this had the capacity to be done well. Turn by Sarasgirl also employs both third person limited perspective and present tense, but it flows very naturally because it is a deeply intimate slice-of-life story with heavy emphasis on introspection.
Robes of Green by contrast has a very casual feel to it. Although I’d also categorise it as a slice-of-life fic given how little emphasis is placed on the plot, it doesn't feel intimate either. The writing is mostly focused on the actions and dialogue of the characters, with very little on Harry’s internal state. And to be fair, when the fic opens Harry is 13 years old; not exactly a prime age for an introspective journey. Understandable, but it shows why present tense was not a good choice for the writing style of the story. As of the 31st of July 2019, the author has decided to rewrite the entire series in past tense due to reader feedback.
I don’t want to spend too long on this section as the real meat of the story is the harem, but aside from the above, it feels like it was written by a young author. It’s unnecessarily wordy, even about very mundane things like exactly how Harry spends every hour of every day on his holidays, and the dialogue is stilted and clunky. I don’t know if it improved in Triwizard King or if I just got used to it, but there were issues such as: people speaking for too long without a reply, everyone using the same dialogue markers and overuse of certain words. Apparently every character including the foreigners and the narrative itself finish their sentences with ‘indeed’. In the first two books alone that word pops up over 200 times and was driving me spare.
The way nicknames and insults were written was also very basic – ‘Mister X’ or ‘Miss Y’ was the standard go-to – usually something which was kind of just factual rather than insulting, which made you go “okay but why?”
They stood out so much that I started making a list of them. Here are some extracts:

Judging by the short time between updates, the author is extremely prolific but falls into the usual trap of quick writers – the review stage either isn’t happening or isn’t thorough enough. They badly needed to get a beta in to be their second set of eyes, and probably to read some of this dialogue out loud to themselves to weed out what doesn’t sound natural.

Briefly, on my problem with Harry (aside from the harem)
Harry himself is vastly different from canon Harry – he’s cocky, flirtatious and generally better at magic, but how and why he got to be the person he is isn’t really explored. He’s the Slytherin with the ‘Heart of Gold’, who seems to generally be influencing the younger generation of Slytherins to be less racist by telling them not to use the word ‘mudblood’, but in the same breath reads up on and practices the unforgivable curses for fun. Everyone is fine with this, so long as he doesn’t cast them on humans. He is a highly performative show-off, to the point of calling the Hungarian Horntail a bitch and declaring that he won’t just get the egg; he’ll knock out the dragon first – and does. He’s bizarrely liberal with his money – I think we’re supposed to see him as a generous fellow, because he randomly gives people very expensive gifts, but it feels more like it’s an overcompensation to buy friendship. Oliver Wood was sad about losing the quidditch final to Slytherin, so Harry makes up for it by buying him a full set of professional keeper gear and a new Nimbus 2000 broom, as an example. He also pays considerable gold to Ludo Bagman for his tips to give him an advantage in the Triwizard tournament, so he doesn’t really have any qualms about cheating or unfairness. He’s totally fine with the Malfoys upgrading Slytherin’s brooms, but rages when Cedric’s father does the same for Hufflepuff, and doesn’t seem to notice the hypocrisy. All in all, it’s hard to find him a likable dude.

On Harems
Let me preface the deep dive by emphasising that I’m not here to kink-shame anyone, and I have no issue with the idea of polyamory or multi-pairings, but the execution of these themes is still subject to criticism.
There are two harem tropes I’m familiar with in popular culture. The first is the anime version where a sweet and naïve every-boy is mysteriously surrounded by a cohort of women who love him deeply and vie for his attention. He has many emotionally intimate and ‘accidentally-almost-sexual’ encounters with all of them before eventually deciding which one he loves.
The other kind is the smut harem common to fanfiction, wherein for various highly contrived reasons, everyone suddenly and desperately needs to have sex with our protagonist. This one is a pretty straight-up sexual fantasy – they get down to business, defeat some Huns and go away – everyone’s happy.
Robes of Green isn’t quite either of these things, but it’s closer to the anime version, especially since actual sex isn’t really on the cards (mostly). There’s something of a femdom kink here that has a similar feel to how anime protagonists get treated by their older harem women. With the exception of Ginny, all the girls in Harry’s life dote on him, treat him like a child, scold and berate him, order him around, and for a good while there feed him, and Harry loves it. The first time the feeding thing happened I thought it might have been a one off, but sexually sub-textual food kept coming back. In one scene, Hermione and Ginny spoon-feed Harry an entire meal. For reasons. Another time, Hermione and Pansy display their influence over Harry by competing to pile food on his plate, then demanding that he eat it all. On yet another occasion, Fleur demands Harry take a plate of food from the Gryffindor table, and stands over it whilst making Harry hand feed her in front of the Gryffindors. I don’t mind if you have a thing for feeding but maybe tag that stuff? It’s not particularly my cup of tea even in fics about adults, it’s extra squicky to read about in 14-year-olds. I’m also not sure if the author is aware that being infantilised by girls constantly is not a sign that you’re sexually attractive to them.
There are 4 main love interests in the harem – Pansy, Hermione, Ginny and Fleur. Satellite love interests include the entire female population of Slytherin and Tonks as of the end of Triwizard King. And I don’t wholesale have an issue with the harem itself? But there are definitely some pretty significant problems with it that are hard to go past.
There are things which could have been written to not be awful, but sort of end up that way. Like, Harry’s friendship group is made up of Pansy (his BFF), and the Slytherin girls of his year. There’s no inherent issue with a guy having better friendships with girls than with boys, but Harry has zero male friendships – not even peripheral ones. The boys of his year hate him (because they’re jus jelus), and he seems to see all of them as sexual rivals or below his notice – because he’s “rich and better” than them (direct quote). What’s more, he exclusively associates with girls he’s attracted to. He doesn’t call the Slytherin girls he spends time with his friends – he calls them his girls. He is constantly exchanging sexual banter with them all and getting very touchy – arm caresses, hand holding, spontaneous massaging, etc. No kissing or otherwise overtly sexual activity, but enough to demonstrate that he has no platonic friendships – just sexual opportunities waiting to be cultivated. The author would like us to consider Harry a nice guy and a good friend (if a bit of a flirt), but what they’re actually painting is more of a “nice guy”, only this one gets all the girls he wants.
Some of the individual relationships are in and of themselves fine – Harry and Pansy for example match each other pretty well for sexual banter and interest, and Pansy makes no secret of her attraction to Harry and her expectation that he will “sow his wild oats” before eventually settling down with her. Fleur pretty well commandeers Harry’s time and attention for most of Triwizard King, and although they never talk about whether or not they’re actually dating, are boyfriend and girlfriend in practice. Fleur is Harry’s first sexual partner, and it seems like a pretty happy relationship.

How to be a creeper
The problems really come up when we look at Ginny and Hermione.
Harry is downright creepy with Ginny. In his opening scene with her in September of 93, he decides to gift her his old Nimbus 2000 since thanks to Lucius Malfoy he now uses a 2001 model along with the rest of the Slytherin team. Seems like a nice thing to do, except that whilst he’s giving it to her he’s making some pretty frank sexual insinuations about her, including a joke about having anal sex with her. Importantly, he’s making these kinds of jokes to a girl who has just turned 12. I’m pretty sure if you saw any guy making a joke like that at a 12 year old girl you’d be getting her out of there quicker than you can say ‘budding sexual predator’.
As it is, Ginny blushes a lot and plays along. Partially this is author bias that every girl Harry flirts with enjoys his attentions, but in a sadder way it’s a realistic response. Ginny has a crush on Harry. Harry has saved her life just a few months past, and he’s currently giving her a very expensive gift that her own family could never afford. The problem with the gift giving accompanied by the sexual suggestions isn’t whether or not Harry has the actual intention to do what he’s joking about, but more that he’s turning the gift-giving into a sexual transaction. Ginny is still too young to recognise what an older girl would – that the price for accepting that broom is too high.
If this weren’t enough, in several scenes Ginny light-heartedly jokes that Harry reminds her a lot of Tom Riddle. If that made your brain implode a little bit thinking about it, mine did too. We can’t even assume in this universe that Ginny is fine and over the whole diary thing, because whenever dementors are around her she has the unique experience of hallucinating Tom, and if Harry is around, she literally sees Harry as Tom and loses her shit. Noping right out of this one.

Speaking of predatory behaviour, I’ll touch on Tonks briefly too. Her entrance into the story shows her (in the morph of a boy) watching Harry naked in the locker room shower after a quidditch match. In their second meeting she changes from a boy back into her usual self for Harry in his bedroom, and the transformation somehow makes all her clothes fall off (yes, really), presenting her unashamedly naked. She then morphs the appearance of her ‘carpet’ for Harry for a bit, before eventually putting her clothes back on. Cool cool cool. Tonks is in her 20s and practically a stranger to Harry. I want you to picture this scenario with the genders reversed for half a second. Now if you know any women who do this kind of thing, please report to child services immediately.

How to be a filthy hypocrite
Hermione is pretty out of character for the sake of the fic – I don’t know how many people read canon Hermione and thought she was a touchy person – I certainly didn’t, but she is here. However unlike Pansy, she doesn’t really welcome Harry’s advances. She’s not a blushing violet like Ginny either, but her tact seems to largely consist of ignoring Harry’s sex jokes and terrible names for her (‘Mugglebabe’, ‘bushy-babe’ and ‘pretty bush’), though there are exceptions, and situations where she can be read as flirting back in more low key ways. Overall though, she reads as someone who values Harry as a platonic friend and spends time with him in spite of his flirting.
Now, when Angelina Johnson is chosen to represent Hogwarts by the Goblet of Fire, Harry chooses to assume that Hermione and Ginny will not be cheering for him, and punishes them by avoiding talking to them for the better part of the school year. This is important context, because shit really hits the fan when as per the canon, Viktor Krum enters the scene.
Remember how Ron acted when he found out Hermione was going to the Yule Ball with Krum, even though he only asked her as a last resort? Harry does more or less the same thing, but worse. He has not been her friend for most of the year, and never once considered asking her to the ball himself (he was lined up with Pansy before switching to Fleur). But Harry gets into a jealous rage about Hermione daring to date Viktor. He lashes out at her multiple times, which she largely ignores (though to her credit does not feel guilty for).
For reasons, Viktor Krum plays seeker for Gryffindor in the final quidditch match of the season against Slytherin, and Harry uses the opportunity to have a pissing contest with him over Hermione. After Harry literally screams “HERMIONE IS MIIIIIINE!” at Viktor, they have a mid-air argument over her. Viktor says some very on-point things about Harry, like the fact that he’s been fooling around with Fleur all year, and Pansy to a lesser extent, so what right does he have to get possessive about Hermione? He points out that Harry treats women like trophies to collect, and that eventually he will have to pick one.
Harry’s counterpoint is along the lines of; he has good reason to like all 3 girls – Viktor just can’t understand, and that because he hasn’t been kissing them all, this means he does not objectify them. He finishes by saying that he won’t have to choose between them because “this is the wizarding world”.
I’m not aware that wizarding law permits bigamy Harry, but ok.
Let’s take a moment of silence to ruminate over all this.
So. You could argue that Harry is an open-minded, modern dude who believes in free love and not putting a label on your relationships. If that were true, that would be fine and dandy. But as this conversation demonstrates, the freedom to be poly apparently only applies to him. He has not made his intentions known to Hermione at all, nor to any of his other love interests, and he certainly hasn’t told them that he has no intention of dating only one girl. Instead he suspends himself in the uncertainty zone, where he is not accountable to any of them for who he gives his affections to, but at the same time he feels entitled to their exclusive sexual and romantic loyalty, and doubles down on what he sees as his right to Hermione’s sexuality. Doesn’t Hermione get a say in who she dates?

But this is just a conscious demonstration of Harry’s immaturity! The author is just writing the realistic reactions of a 14-year-old!

I hear you cry. Okay, but have it one way or the other. Harry is either far too immature to even scratch the surface of having a polyamorous relationship and this is the author showing how far he has to go, OR the author genuinely sees Harry’s claims over four(ish) girls he has never asked out as legitimate, and Viktor just needs to shut up and go back to his wrong corner.
Narrative framing unfortunately supports the author being on Harry’s side here. He is not held accountable and never has to apologise or reflect on how terribly he behaved, and his friendship with Hermione just gets an auto-reboot because bad things happen at the end of Triwizard King and she’s worried about him. Fortunately in this particular case, I don’t have to rely solely on narrative framing to determine how we’re supposed to see Harry either. AO3 gives the author the opportunity to respond to comments, so here is one about Harry’s choice to not pick one girl:

Harry has legit reasons to be unable to choose a single one.
This isn't a harem where everyone's just tossed in, there's Pansy for always sticking by Harry (especially since he was a 'scaredy cat' for some of first year). There's Hermione for being the first girl who's ever been friendly to him (and helped out a massive bit over the story). There's Fleur for not only being the most attractive girl to have visited Hogwarts, but also for also helping Harry through the Tournament.
He also likes Ginny as well, since she's gine through a Voldemort ordeal too.
I'm not guaranteeing it'll end up four witches for Harry, but it's definite that he won't end up with just one.

LEGIT. REASONS. GUYS.
Upsettingly, this needs to be said: You can have feelings for more than one person, but having more than one girl in your life who is nice to you is not “legit reason” to never choose between them for a committed relationship. There is more than one type of relationship to have with a girl, and friendly girls =/= sex. It’s okay to just see a girl as a friend sometimes; it does not make the relationship worthless.
TL:DR
People, by all means have your harems if that be your thing – there actually are legit (if often contrived) reasons for them to work. Have them be anime-style awkward sexual tension moments, or have them be smut without plot. Go for your life. But have an awareness of what you’re writing, and please don’t try to dress up sexual entitlement as cute and romantic. Needless to say, this one is not on my ‘recommended’ list.

INTRO

Hey there! This was a project that I've been working on for these past few weeks. The title is pretty straight forward, but reasoning behind it is this: As I've browsed through this subreddit and met many unique users, I've always wanted to know more about them, as a person.
So I (along with some other users) came up with some interview questions. These questions are meant to answer basic facts and characteristics about each person that partakes in this interview. These questions are divided into four categories: Personal Questions (What they're like IRL). Subreddit Questions (These are questions about what the person does on the SVTFOE subbreddit, other subreddits, and on the internet in general). SVTFOE Questions (These questions asks the person's views on the show we all know and love). and MISC. QUESTIONS (These questions I couldn't categorize in any of the ones above, but were still fun/important to ask).
Now, these questions only touch on the BASIC facts about the interviewee. I'd love to know everything and ask every possible question about the person, but time wouldn't allow that. I love music, I'm amateurish writer, I'm lazy; (Too easy, right?)

I'm a man.

How old are you?

Well, the answer is in my nickname. I'm the 97 year old man. . Not really, I'm almost 20, but my behaviour says otherwise. Sometimes I'm acting like an old prick, sometimes I act like a child. To this very day I'm watching Smurfs and I genuinely enjoy Them. I guess all in all I'm still a kid.

What style/type of clothing do you like to wear? (ex. Conservative, outlandish, sweatpants and band shirts, naturist, etc.)

Whatever there is in my warderobe. I need to like the clothes, feel comfortable in them. Also I hate going to clothing shops. So most of the time I'm wearing jeans and shirt. I'm only buying new clothes once They're too small for them, so once every 2-4 years I'm waiting for a promotion and then buy en masse (like some time ago I had bought 12 T-shirts each for 12$ (if we go by 1:1 exchange rate).

Tell us a bit about where you live and what you like/don’t like about it.

Europe, Poland. Wrocław (Breslau for Germans) is my university town. I could say my birth town, but I'm not feeling comfortable enough. I can say only that we were considered part of Russia (let's see if StardustFromReinmuth will guess right. Send it through PM Stardust).

Favorite place(s) to travel? And/or are there any places you WISH to travel?

I visited many places in my country. Like a lot. I also visited Czech Republic many times, went from the borders to Dvur Hralove (wonderful zoo with safari experience) to Prague thrice or more. I (also was in Germany (only briefly, not visited), in Bulgary at Golden Sands resort (summer camp), in Italy (Venetia, Padwa, Werona) and Paris. And of course the most beautiful city: Amsterdam. Like seriously. Venetia is overrated, full of people, it looks ugly (nothing is taken care about, every building is neglected and in ruin), Paris is eeehhh, could be better. Montrmartre is beautiful plac, the rest is meh. That being said I went on Eiffel Tower by stairs. But man. AMSTERDAM. If You'll ever think about going to Europe on a trip, forget everything. Just go to Amsterdam. It's the most beautiful city I've ever been. People are incredibely friendly, staff at restaurants are offering discounts, one of the waiters invited me and my friends for a karaoke night (unfortunately we couldn't have went as we had to go back to bus soon), others were photobombing groups, offering joints but were cool if You didn't want it. Like seriously. It's was the most beautiful and friendly place. Also a lot of bicycles. If I remember our tour guide said that every year city "fishes" 500 of them from the river.
As for the places I would love to visit: Canada (in which I would love to live), USA, Australia (I really want to see Steve Irwin's Zoo), St Petersburg, Moscow (Red Square is beautiful), Siberia (preferably summer as it's really beautiful on summer, but I would like to see Siberian Winter). Also I would love to travel by Trans-Siberian Railway. I would also love to work in Serengeti National Park with lions. But unfortunately I can't be vet because I don't have the heart to cut animals (You need to open them to perform the operation). Like I could open people fairly easy, no hard feelings (I watched corpse sections on TV while eating dinner) no blockade at all. But when I would have to open animal I would break down and cry, and would be unable to do it. Poor thing. Also I love big cats and crocodiles.

Do you speak any other language? And/or are there any languages you’d WISH to learn?

I speak English . I was learning German and French but since it was mandatory second language (third if You count native language) I (and many others) weren't focusing on it and it was "mandatory evil" for everyone. As for the language I would want to learn... Probably Spanish. But on my own in my free time. Not in school. I would sing all the Latino songs!

Any siblings or any other family member that also watch SVTFOE?

None. I'm only child (sort-of) and no. I'm not watching it with the rest of my family. Only recently (like 3-4 months ago) we started watching old cartoons together (Smurfs, Tabaluga, Gummy Bears if we can find them on TV).

Chocolate or fruit-flavored candies?

Depends. If chocolate then dark chocolate. Milk one is too sweet. Most of the time fruit-flavored. But sometimes you just need to eat chocolate.

Favorite food/group of foods?

Italian foods probably. I love pizza. I love pasta. I hate mushrooms.

Writing, reading, cartoons, listening to music. I play chess. Unfortunately not in tournaments anymore. Bad life choices :/. Also I would try my best at voice acting now. And making jewelry. I made one beaded crocodile in the past. It looks great (it's not the one on the photo here).
I also love to watch wrestling and travel! When I was younger every week we were going to another mine, castle, landscape part and every possible landscape. Basically I have seen it all what's possible in 100 km radius around my city. One of my dreams is to during one summer to travel around the country by foot. Without cash. Just go by foot, sometimes taking the ride. I would ask peope who I know from another cities if I could sleep at their houses for a day, take a shower, eat normal breakfast.

What is your most valuable possession(s)?

I know it's not exactly an answer to your question but, the most valuable thing to me is my family. If it weren't for them (mostly my mom and my great grandmother) I would've already committed suicide (especially if I had to live with that piece of sh*t that is my so called "father". He is the only person I would wish bad luck upon). There are only 4-5 of us. I already said to myself in the past, that if something happened to them, I lose all the reasons to live. I just want to find a well-paid job to somehow help them and repay for all these years. Maybe later the plans would change.
If You want answer to Your question then it would be probably a phone. I have 3 GB of music on it, 300 notes I have created (including Fan Fics and more) and photos. Also internet connection.

I have a cat! European Shorthair called Mickey! I named Him like that after I watched Disney version of Three Musketeers. I had 2 dogs (one after another one) in the past. German Shepherd (I'm still sad) and boxer mixed with rottweiler.

What's your current occupation?

Student of Biomedical Engineering. University of Engineering Wrocław. Second year now. I would be looking for the part-time job now for the August/September.

How do you get around town?

I have a driving license, but I prefer walking or using public transport. Fortunately we have great public transport compared to America (or so I heard). Check it out! You can go anywhere (by the bus or a tram) for the low prize of $1.5 (if we go by 1:1 conventer. If not then it's 0,42 dollar. Also trains were incorporated into city public transport, but they have different prizes. You can buy 4-month ticket for all lines (including trains) for 300PLN (83 USD).

Any hidden/special talents you’d wish to share?

Ehhh... I don't think I have secret talents. Unless they're so secret that I don't know about them. Unless You want to count that I can roll my tongue into letter "U" or the fact that I can lick my own nose. It's true, no tricks. Oh. I was also learning how to throw cards for a month out of boredom.

Tell us something embarrassing about yourself! ;)

I'm overweight. I learned how to tie my shoes when I was 12/13. I'm physically weak (really weak, I have no strength in the upper part of my body, all is gathered in my legs), I had my first and only girlfriend when I was 17 and only because she "chose" me (but I don't think it's something embarrassing, as I was never interested in getting one. Strangely there was some girls earlier which had a crush on me.)

What’s a weakness/character flaw you’d like to improve on?

Laziness. Flash in the pan/short-lived enthusiasm/quitter. Dangerous mix that stops me from self-improvement.

Favorite Season? (the fall/wintesummespring type of season)

Winter. I love snow. I love mountains. Why is winter better than summer? Easily? If it's too cold You can put more clothes on yourself. If it's too hot you can't pull of anymore clothes.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I don't really know. I'm only studying because I want to emigrate and this course is supposed to help me with it. My dream job would be in WWE (I don't care, I can be referee or backstage crew even). Or maybe traveler. My most hated job would be in the office. I hate suits and ties. I feel enslaved in them.

What were/are you like in school?

In primary school I was one of the more talented ones. Teachers were calling me "talented, but lazy". I was studying for test for 5 minutes and I was passing with a, 4+ to 5. Explanation: In my country "rating" system is from 1 (the worst rate, You haven't passed) through 2 (barely passed) to 5 and sometimes 6 (100% or You made a special exercise that requires extended knowledge. It depends on a teacher what requirement for 6 will be [or if He will even give 6]). So I was getting best rates without learning much.
In 5-6th class in primary school I had problems with my presence on the lessons (in short: I was ditching school), so it showed on my grades that were lowered by teachers.
In gymnasium situation was similar with the exception, that I was almost kicked out because my presence was under 50% (mandatory one). I get the "red belt" (special distinction for having high notes at the end of the year) in the last year of gymnasium. My average was 4.94. If one of the 4's was 5 I would have 5.0. So it was great.
In high school I was one of the many. In the middle. I required more time to study for the tests, but as always my sh*tty luck was giving me a run for the money (one point before next grade, I've did the exercise for 6 perfectly but I haven't met requirements for it). Also some teachers were too strict and really bad (looking at YOU my biology teacher, where 40% of the bio-chemistry class ditched matura exam from biology because of Her).
At the University unfortunately I'm the one of the worse ones, because I'm learning two days before the test. I really need to change my bad habits this semester.

Early bird or night owl?

Night owl. I sleep till 10-11 am. After midnight is the time when my brain is most creative (I remember staying alive till 3 am just because I had a idea for FanFiction and I was typing it all on my phone), where I'm the most active and all that.

Do you have a real life nickname?

I had two or three, which were shortened form of my name. I hated the first one with passion.

Anything else you’d like to share with us?

I once traveled 5 kilometers by a sled. If I would go by the other side of a hillock I would be shot by a border guards. I'm really proud of it as it was really small hillock on which dog teams were racing. I was the best when it came to the sledding. The fastest, I always went the furthest distance... I miss my sleds. :(

Yeah I'm totally a lurker . I contributed over 230 fanarts, Mod Day, new RHC, RHC flairs, paintbrushes for artists... I mean I wrote a whole speech about it. There are way too many things to say.

What’s your favorite flair to browse through?

Recently I browsed less than usual (as of the 8th of August). The same thing happened after the movie. In the past I went through all tags, so I don't have favorite tag. But if I had to say... fanworks. I love seeing works of talented people. Don't matter the ship (or not ship), as long as art is beautiful, cute, has this special feeling or something I'm a fan of it. I still have this fanart as my wallpaper.

How often do you visit this subreddit?

Way too often . Everyday. 10-12 hours with breaks. I need a therapy . Fortunately I'm not addicted and I can live without looking at this sub. I just like spending my time here and talking to people.

PC and phone browser (I'm big enemy of apps, Google Play and all these sh*tty "stores"). You already invigilate me at every point of my life. I'm not okay with giving stupid app access to my contacts or messages. They still use microphones and record everything You say. Someone should burn it all down and start from the scratch.

What’s the origin of your username?

As for origin of my username... Two of them. First is the fact that there is no anonymity on the internet. You're inspected from every side. Your network provider, police, government, hacker behind the wall, everyone knows which websites You access and what you're doing. Second is I think I had a history lesson and at that time we were talking about Gall Anonim (anonymous author of first chronicles about Poland). History teacher was so cool that we played many games with Him (middle school) including many online games. In one of them my usual nicknames were taken so I had to come up with new one and bam! Anonim97 was born.

Yes. matrix97. Sometimes with part of my name. I don't want to give the second one as the first google results is my blog I had to set-up for Computer science lessons in High School. Also friends on the forum said if you google my usernames you can see all sites I had an accounts on (and some others I haven't had). Fortunately (or unfortunately, I was enjoying seeing these ancient relics of internet) it's no longer a case and looking for me just gives my reddit profile.

Yes. In fact I treat most of the other active users as friends. Also I have a penpal now from this sub! Yay! I can't wait to exchange postcards!

Favorite fan-artist? Oh man, this question is totally not fair! There are many wonderful artists on our sub. There are also more artists outside. I have seen way too many of them. But if I had to make a list on the names that came first to my mind: eavf92 (His works are really beautiful/cute/funny. I really enjoy the way He is drawing), mmmshortbread (I really love "It's Tradition"), and I need to say Raico ("IF" made me a big fan. While I'm not high for NSFW fanarts [they still were funny], the story of IF was everything I wanted and more). Gargolazo for my shipping needs (from what I have talked with Raico He had his works published! Good for Him!). Also who could've forget Malthus? Like I said there are way too many artists.

Do you read fanfiction? If so, what’s your favorite author and/or story in particular (You can include long-running comics as well)?

No. I don't read fan-fictions, aside the one in comics form published on the sub and RK128 work. Also the other users work I have asked for and my friends works. I was burned by the forum where the FF I was a fan (I have read) were never finished and take months to update.

Since the beginning of my account. So since February 2017. I think I made an account 2 days after Running with Scissors.

What made you want to join the SVTFOE reddit?

I don't really know. I was lurking on reddit 4-5 years ago. Mainly on /polandball. In 2014 I have taken a break. In 2015 I returned and lurked on /squaredcircle (wrestling sub) regularly. Then I watched GF and looked at older discussion threads on /gravityfalls. Why have I finally made an accounts? I guess I had some ideas for jokes on /starvs I wanted to share. And here I am.

What other subreddits do you partake in?

/squaredcircle (mostly lurking), /polandball (mostly lurking, but I recently tried to gain approval rights with a cheap pun. It didn't went well. Drawings were ok, but the idea wasn't original). /StevenUniverse but I haven't catched up since The Zoo or one of these episodes from that bomb. I also enjoy: /40klore (posts on Meme Virus Fridays and comments), /grimdank (lurking), /mountandblade (lurking), /civ (lurking). And /kotor (for the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic). I was high on that subreddit year and a half ago. Or maybe two. I loved reading how these two games (and one I have played) really made Star Wars feel more real and less black and white. Seriously. Kreia is the best. Her views on the force and everything else are something.

In the end, what do you want to be known for in this subreddit (and/or the internet in general)?

For ruling with my iron fist! But seriously, I don't know. Do I want to be famous on the sub? Eh, I'm not doing it for it. But if I had to choose: I would be like to be known as a friend. Someone people can talk with about everything, someone You can share secrets, someone You could look when You need help/advice. This great guy all around, who is enjoyable to be with. Maybe go as far as being the glue of community? Sorry, my egomaniac side is showing :P

How did you find out about the show?

Many ways. Advertisements on DisneyXD (forget about it), thread for GF: Weirdmageddon (Eh, I'll watch that later) and soon enough Between Friends. Someone there said that the show is similar so I gave it a try. I'm not ashamed to say it.

Why do you like the show and/or What made you keep watching it?

Curiosity, boredom, likeable characters, graphic side of the show. It's all around great show after all.

Favorite character(s)?

Buff Frog. No questions. I don't know who is #2 (probably Toffee), but I need to give Honorary Mention to Oskar. I identify with that guy. I'm also dreamer with my own plans for life. F*ck Society! If I want to live on the road between two cities bringing entertainment to people, you are damn sure I'm going to do it! But first I need to pay debts to my family. First family, then my own personal life.

Favorite episode(s)?

Probably Bon Bon and Just Friends. Wait, scrap that. Definitely Ludo in the Wild. That one episode made me go "Holy cow!" and made it #2 show for me (Gumball is still untouchable).

What did you think of the movie? Did you survive?

I didn't liked the movie. There was great moments (the bunker in which Star and Mother were, Buff Frog, Ruberiot, Toffee's scenes, music [OMG! BHK just made love to my ear]) but there was many stinkers (Marco was not needed and ruined possible great plot/action in which He looks for Star with all His friends, everything with River, most of the scenes with Ludo, killing Toffee...) 4/10.

If there was ONE thing you could change about the show, what would it be? (something NON-shipping related)

Less focus on Star and Marco (and StarCo but that's not the part of question). You could give one line to Alfonso and Ferguson like "See You tomorrow Marco", more Janna on screen, more Jackie, more character development (and screentime) for these characters. Right now Marco feels like a loner without friends. Now imagine how would He looked like/felt if Disney haven't decided to put Ferguson and Alfonso in the show. Why would They make episodes for secondary characters? See Ludo in the Wild and "On the job"

Which crew member(s) behind the show would you like to meet and what would you have them do? (autograph something, say a line, reenact a scene, a simple high-five, etc.)

I don't really know. I'm never interested in backstage stuff. But if I had to answer... Maybe Brian Kim and ask him for theme song? Or maybe the Adam McArthur to say "stop posting on Twitter and teasing/irritating everyone with it".

None. I'm too poor and too cheap for it. I think I have some Scottish roots (laugh).

Favorite Book(s)?

Favorite book? That's like asking mother for favorite kid! I love every book. There is no "favorite book". It can be "Le Petit Prince", "Dead Poets Society", "Harry Potter" everything. If I had to name "most influential" so far it would be "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series. It started my "life" on internet on forum sites. (I was previously only on gaming sites.) Thanks to this I "started" writing my own fanfictions. I still had some ideas earlier, but here I was in forum RPG, I met my friends that helped me when I didn't had friends in real life and more.

Favorite Movie(s)?

I don't have favorite movie. But there are many I enjoy. No matter how many times, I can still watch Police Academy. I love Disney movies. I cried during Toy Story 3. I cry in most films produced by Denzel Washington.

I listen to almost every genre. There's no way I have "favorite song". Most of the time I have two-three songs per band. Sometimes I have one-hit wonders, sometimes full albums. But if I had to name a few: Życie jak poemat (beautiful song with beautiful message), Perfect - Niepokonani (same), Budka Suflera - Jolka, Jolka (the best ballad), Ich Troje - Ci wielcy (my favorite song when I was 3-4 year old) [INTRO is still the best album out there featuring songs about rape (Jenny), abortion (Prawo) and much much more]. I can count more and more of these songs. Also I encourage You to look for the lyrics of the songs I've linked. They're really great. If I had to name one more song it would be REM - Losing My Religion. It was the only ringtone on my first ever phone - Sagem My301X.
For the favorite band it's still hard answer. There are so many great bands. I was on many concerts and I want to be on even more concerts. I mostly enjoy 80's, 90's music. Early 00's pop music. Rock. Alternative. These would be my favorite genres. My phone is walking radio capable of providing a music for almost everyone.

My favorite genres are strategy games. Later RPGs. Also there is one racing game I own and really enjoy: Dethkarz from 98. The 3D graphics in it is so beautiful, the game has interesting concept and it's really challenging. From other titles I want to include: CIV series, Total War series, Dawn of War, Mount&Blade: Warband. Also Dungeon of the Endless is underrated game. Spelunky is also fun. Also everything from Pegasus Console). Unfortunately my console isn't working anymore. So many cartridges lost :(

Voice actors: Jarosław Boberek. 585 voice-overs and still counting. Every one sounds different and You have hard time recognizing Him. He is THE VOICE ACTOR. No-one come close.

From females it would be Emma Watson. I wasn't even teenager (or was I? Depends how you count) when the Prisoner of Azkaban came out. And She made me feel things. If I was oldestarted watching wrestling earlier I could definitely say Lita. Dyed red-hair who loves tattoos and punk/rock music? Where do I sign up? Even now She looks great! (Note: I really need to buy colour hair spray or dye my hair.)
From men? Way too many. That's what You get from watching sport when half-naked men grapple each other. But here's the list: Bogusław Linda (actor mentioned earlier. I have this crush because of my mom), Christian 2, The Miz 2 (guess I'm attracted to confidence). Johnny Gargano is also handsome dude.

Who’s your fictional character crush?

I never thought that fictional-crush can be so hard to answer! On the one hand when You're younger You don't have "crush" yet and later You are only watching cartoons that don't help You with "crushes". And even later there is no crush anymore just the fact that You like the design/personality of this character but wouldn't go as far to call the character a crush. The only character I can recall as possible crush is Julie Makimoto from Bakugan. Pure fanservice. Earlier there was Sam from Totally Spies, Wuya from Xiaolin Showdown and Starfire from Teen Titans (another pure fanservice).
Later in life (where it was mostly design/personality choice) I would put three characters from my anime period. Holo from "Spice and Wolf" (great anime to chill. It's in medieval times and it's not mostly about magic, just about a simple merchant)... Okay now that I think about it, while there are many characters design I enjoyed I never had a crush on any of them here. I was way too old for that (16-17). (I came to that realization once I found all these screenshots from anime are just... ugly. It looked better in motion, on static screen it looks bad.)
Now back to the question. From male characters I definitely had a crush on Chase Young from "Xiaolin Showdown" now that I think about it. Guess there is a pattern because I like another cold-blooded lizard with possibly tragic past.
